I like to do some silly things, and I like to think I perform well under pressure – but this may just be one of my most foolish ideas….I’ve decided to get involved and take part in Blogtober 2019.
What is Blogtober?
Quite simply, Blogtober is where bloggers (from all ‘sectors’) publish a new blog post every day for the 31 days of October.
Why am I taking part in Blogtober 2019?
Because I want to get back into blogging – I miss it. Instagram and Twitter are great, but they have a limit of what you can share. I like splurging my thoughts out on paper (yes, I write all my blogs on paper first…), typing them up and then hitting that ‘publish’ button. There are 17 drafts that are currently sat waiting to be completed, which will finally be freed at some point in October.
It will be really interesting for me to see how my stats move throughout this period too.
I love a challenge, so as well as Blogtober, I’m also hosting the #ProseccoPrompts hashtag challenge over on my Instagram. I’ll definitely be talked out come November!
What will I be blogging about over the next 31 days?
I’m not going ‘full fall’ related like some bloggers choose to do, though there will be a touch of autumn and Halloween inspired posts. I plan to post 31 days of content, which is possibly more than I’ve posted in the last year, and it will be topics that I usually post about – just on a grander scale!
Some posts will be scheduled to go, and the others? I will no doubt completely wing on the day.
Between them, Maisie and Laura have put together 100 Blogtober post ideas and if you need some inspiration, it’s well worth taking a look at their joint lists. Pinterest also comes to life at this time of year too so you’ll find heaps and heaps of hints and tips to keep you on track over there!
Who else is taking part?
I’m sure I’ll be updating this list as I go!
