I’ve had a lot of support since I started blogging and learnt heaps from other people along my journey.
Starting this month, I’m going to share my favourite bloggers for the month. I’ll be showcasing a few of these blogs, and the people behind them every month, so go check them out and if they’re not already, maybe they’ll end up in your favourites too!
- First up is Ruth in Revolt – a fairly new blogger (not that you’d guess from her posts and following!), who is so humble, super caring and ultra-supportive. In Ruth’s words she’s on a one woman mission to ‘make your life brighter and your blog better’. She is genuinely your personal cheerleader! Ruth shares supportive, ‘how to’ posts about blogging as well as personal posts about her own journey with anxiety and depression as well as family, beauty and relationships. I featured on her blog recently too! Follow Ruth on Twitter.
- I have been following Hanna at Little Snippets for a while now. I first stumbled on her blog when I really started discovering the ‘blogging world’ and I really enjoyed her style of writing. She is a ‘mummy blogger’ and her style and tone of voice really resonated and struck a chord with me. I feel like via her blog and Instagram I’ve watched her little girl Darcie grow up and then this year little Ernie (I say little, Hanna housed a 10lb baby in her tiny body!). Hanna covers all things motherhood, lifestyle and beauty – and like me she’s a Southampton resident, so I often recognise many of the places she visits with her two under two’s! - I love Rachael of From Rachael Claire’s writing style and the wide variety of parenting posts that she conjures up! Rachael is one of the people that I mentioned above who have really helped me out with my blog, sharing hints and tips and answering my silly questions – she’s become my blogging Google! She has a super gorgeous little boy, Teddy, and the majority of her blog is focused around all things parent alongside travel, book recommendations with some Zoflora obsession thrown in too. You have to go check out her recent post on their holiday to Greece, it’ll make you want to book a flight! Follow Rachael on Twitter.
- I have really been enjoying Emma’s blog, Ettie and Me, since discovering it a year or so ago. Emma has a lovely honest writing style and covers parenting, travel and home interiors/renovation. I’m very jealous of her style and her eye for a gorgeous print, cushion and throw! Aside from decorating her house up all lovely, she has a beautiful little girl, Ettie, who features in a lot of her gorgeous Instagram posts – and little brother Oliver has now joined their world…arriving in about two hours from start to finish! I participated in Emma’s ‘Mummy Juggle’ guest series last year – you can read that here. Follow Emma on Twitter.
