This is an adopted post taken from everyone’s favourite Vegan – Maisie, over at Love Maisie, when she took part in the Blogtober Autumn tag last year. I’ve kept it along the same lines but just chucked a few new questions in to bring it up to date…
- What signifies the start of autumn to you?
Dark nights, the orange and yellow leaves trampled all over the soggy ground and everyone getting the chunky knits out!
- Best way to spend a rainy day?
If your children aren’t like mine and will happily sit and watch a film, I would always choose films, popcorn and a day under the duvet. But mine aren’t that way inclined, so I wrote a post with a few ideas of things to do on a rainy day.
- What are you most excited for this autumn?
Dark nights, cosy nights in, crunching through leaves and more time spent in my DG.
- Favourite seasonal colour?
Rusty oranges and bright yellows. I’m all about the typical autumn feels!
- Are you more of a wicked witch or a cutesy cat?
It depends what day you catch me on!
- Are you a Harry Potter fan?
No, I haven’t even seen one. He can keep his wand to himself!
- Share your best autumn recipes
Anything that you can sling in the slow cooker. Hearty stews, gammon and all the veggies, chunky chillis and all of those recipes that you can sling in the slowie in the morning and return home to the house smelling delicious in the evening!
- What’s your favourite season and why?
Ahhhhh, this is a tricky one. Summer and Winter. I find Spring and Autumn just those inbetween sort of seasons where you’re just waiting for the real deal to come along.
- Are you a pumpkin spiced latte fan?
This might not be the most blogger answer, but I haven’t brought into the hype. I’m more a black Americano girl. And I think I’ll stay that way too.
I now nominate my other favourite vegan Charlotte at Simply Together, Eileen at Two Nerds & A Baby, Lorraine at Secret Mum Blog and anyone else who might want to fill a Blogtober day!!
