GIFTED// Gifts for Little Hands – Educational Toy Review
I’ve written a number of posts since Sofia started school last year; my recent post talked a lot about learning through play in the classroom. But how do you continue this at home?
I recently discovered a fab company online which was started by a mum of two young boys; the company was founded through her desire to give her children a great foundation to support their learning journey, to prepare them in the best way for school. There really is no better ‘why’ than that is there!
After much research on the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework alongside Early Years experts…and a tonne of playing with many educational toys, Gifts for Little Hands was born!
The company source from educational suppliers across Europe, and you can shop by age group from newborn all the way up to five years plus.
I’ve listed just a few items which I loved the look of – all are currently available over on the Gifts for Little Hands site:
Age 0-2 years:
- Goula 3 Farm Animal Puzzle
- Baby Ball Threading Beads
- Goula Activity Table
Age 2-3 years:
Age 3-5 years:
- Live Butterfly Garden by Insect Lore (Sofia had this in school in Year R and was fascinated by it!)
- Magnetic Words – Reception Year
- Little Explorers Set
Age 5 years+
*I was gifted the Goula Wooden Puzzle Duo and Times Table Swat Game for a review for my Christmas Gift Guide – however, I loved the ethos of this company and wanted to share in a separate post too. For new school parents like me – this site is a godsend!
